PUBG MOBILE WORLD CUP FORMAT AND PUBG MOBILE PARTNER TEAMS REVEALED

• Full details of the inaugural PUBG MOBILE World Cup, as part of the Esports World Cup, have been revealed. The tournament will feature 24 teams making their way through eight days of competition, with three separate stages.
• The tournament will take place this Summer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Esports World Cup.
• All teams will enter through the Group Stage, which will be followed by a Survival Stage for the bottom twelve teams, before the Main Stage featuring the top twelve Group Stage teams and the top four of the Survival Stage.
• Teams will compete for the $3,000,000 prize pool, in an even more competitive format, meaning more excitement for fans in an already action-packed summer of esports.
• The full global list of PUBG MOBILE Partner teams has also been unveiled, with 39 partner teams in total from across Southeast Asia, EMEA and The Americas.

LOS ANGELES, March 7, 2024 – Today, PUBG MOBILE has revealed the full format for its inaugural PUBG MOBILE World Cup as part of a three year partnership between Level Infinite and the Esports World Cup Foundation. The tournament is the premier summer PUBG MOBILE tournament and will see the world’s top players compete for a $3,000,000 USD prize pool as part of the Esports World Cup. Also revealed today is the full roster of PUBG MOBILE Partner teams, with a current total of 39 separate teams representing Southeast Asia, EMEA and The Americas.

The PUBG MOBILE World Cup enters the 2024 calendar adding even more competition and action to the midseason slot, with only the very best teams of 2024 invited to compete. 24 teams will take part in the tournament: five teams from Southeast Asia, four teams from Central and South Asia, four teams from EMEA, three teams from The Americas, two teams from China, one from South Korea, one from Japan and the victorious team of the PUBG MOBILE Rivals Cup (PMRC) Korea vs Japan tournament. Finally, two additional teams will receive a special invite, along with the champion of this year's PUBG MOBILE Global Open 2024.

The first stage, the Group Stage, will feature all 24 teams going head to head. From this, the top twelve will automatically qualify for the Main Stage Event. However, the remaining teams will move onto the Survival Stage, where they will battle with each other, and 4 teams invited from the PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL), for the last four available Main Stage spots. Those top four will then progress to the Main Stage and rejoin the other qualified teams, where all 16 will fight for one thing, their chance to win the inaugural PUBG MOBILE World Cup.

Also revealed today is the full roster of PUBG MOBILE Partner teams, a program that has expanded greatly since its launch in 2023. From beginning as a program only in Southeast Asia, teams from Southeast Asia, EMEA and The Americas now all have the opportunity to partner with PUBG MOBILE Esports. As of March 2024, PUBG MOBILE Esports now features 39 individual partner teams, each one working to help drive sustainability, growth and elevate their respective brands and regions to the next level.
