Trio to take on sixteen of London’s Bridges in Thames Bridges Bike ride

A trio from Tri Fits –U, a small Triathlon/Duathlon Training Club based in Warlingham, have signed up for this year’s 50 mile extended, Thames Bridges Bike ride. Mick, Shelley and Natalie will be riding over sixteen of London’s most famous bridges and going past many iconic landmarks, during the ride which takes place on the 10th May 2015.

Mick is Shelley’s father and Natalie met them when she was looking for a personal trainer. Shelley has been competing in triathlons for the last 5 years and Natalie for the last 3 years. This year the Tri Fits-U are raising money for two Charities; the Stroke Association and Saint Raphael's Hospice in Sutton through two main events the Stroke Association Thames Bridges Bike Ride and The London Virgin Triathlon.

Threeyears ago, Mick sadly lost his Mum as a result of a stroke and Shelley lost her Nan. They said “We are passionate about making a difference, to help others who have suffered something similar and Stroke Association is a charity very close to our hearts”

Tri Fits-U provides training for beginners in triathlons, this year they have teamed up with Tannus Tyres. Tannus tyres provide puncture less tyres and in keeping with the theme of the Stroke Association, they have supplied the team with violet coloured tyres, to coordinate with the Stroke cycle jerseys.

As a company, Tannus are passionate about charity and have pledged to make a donation for every set of violet coloured puncture less tyres, sold under their offer code STROKE15, via all their outlets. Mick has liaised with North Down Cycles, who are based in Surrey and they are now stocked and able to provide Tannus tyres in the Stroke violet colour, to other keen cyclists in the area, who wish to sign up for the Thames Bridges ride.
