Grand Tromsø Announces Transfer to Strawberry

Strawberry strengthens its team in Tromsø with Scandic Grand Tromsø, which will become the sixth hotel in the Arctic City for the hotel company.

The Nordic Group and Strawberry have agreed on a transfer for Grand Tromsø, which will switch affiliation and name to Quality Hotel Grand Tromsø in December.

More potential in the North
Grand Tromsø is located in the city center and has 176 guest rooms, including several family rooms, five meeting rooms, a bar, café, and restaurant. The hotel is owned and operated by the Nordic Group, a significant player in the North Norwegian tourism and real estate market.

"Tourism in Northern Norway is experiencing fantastic development, and it's wonderful to be a part of it. However, we believe the potential in the north is even greater, and we have high ambitions for the hotel, which we believe we can best achieve together with Strawberry. Continues Growth
Strawberry has grown significantly in the three northernmost counties in recent years and wants to further strengthen its presence in Northern Norway. When the Tromsø hotel dons its new guise as Quality Hotel Grand Tromsø, it will become the sixth Strawberry hotel in the Arctic City.
