One of Starbucks USP is asking for a name. This has come under a challenge from STAMMA, the national charity for people who stammer, who are calling for a Day of Action on 26th October.

STAMMA JOIN FORCES WITH STAMMERING PRIDE OVER COFFEE PROTEST

On 22nd October, International Stammering Awareness Day (ISAD), STAMMA, alongside some of the Stammering Pride community, are calling for a Day of Action against Starbucks on the 26th of October, urging them to make their ordering process accessible, fair and inclusive.

Founded in 1978, STAMMA, the British Stammering Association, is a national registered charity dedicated to creating a better world for people who stammer. Through its website, stamma.org, helpline and backing of local meetup and self-help groups, STAMMA provides information and support for people who stammer and those living, supporting or working with them. STAMMA is a membership organisation with members taking an active role in the election of trustees and in the strategic direction of the charity.
