SkiStar, the leading holiday organiser for Scandinavia, is taking a significant step in its transition to a fossil-free operation by testing complete electrification of a ski resort. The unique pilot project is being conducted at SkiStar's ski resort in Stockholm, Hammarbybacken. This marks a crucial milestone for the company towards its sustainability goal for 2030.

Summer skiing opened today at Stockholm Hammarbybacken, Sweden's first modern alpine skiing arena with artificial grass. The SummerSki venture is an important milestone in the company's move towards year-round activities, which can now also be enjoyed in the middle of the capital.
