The PRCA UK Conference explores the changing PR landscape

Communications professionals face increasingly complex challenges as the pace of technological advancement and social change accelerates. The PRCA UK Conference, "Embracing Innovation: Navigating the Changing PR Landscape,” aims to address these challenges head-on and provide valuable insights to PR professionals working in a world characterised by social change and rapidly advancing technology. The event will take place at One Great George Street in London on 12th July from 09:00 - 17:30 BST.

The conference will revolve around two main themes: "Embracing Innovation" and "The Changing PR Landscape." Attendees will have the opportunity to explore digital technologies and innovations that can enhance current ways of working while also gaining valuable insights into the latest trends, opportunities, and challenges within the PR industry.

The agenda features a remarkable lineup of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and case studies. Some of the sessions include:

  • "Future-proofing Your Workforce" - Experts will explore how the work landscape has changed post-COVID and discuss the alignment between employee value and the needs of the workforce in 2023.
  • "Are We Outsourcing Our Curiosity to an Algorithm?" - The session will delve into the challenges to creativity in a digital world and explore the dangers of relying solely on algorithms for inspiration. Attendees will gain insights into how leaders can reengage their natural curiosity for the benefit of themselves and their businesses.
  • "Welcome to the 'AI Empowered Communication Revolution'" - Communication professionals will learn about the transformative potential of AI in content creation, strategy planning, and audio/visual-based communications. The session will highlight the advantages of being an early adopter of AI technologies.
  • "The Lessons to Learn Today, to Support the Female Leaders of Tomorrow" - Industry leaders will discuss the barriers faced by women in reaching leadership positions and explore strategies for empowering and enabling more senior women in the PR industry.

The event will also feature of other insightful sessions, including panel discussions on adopting AI within PR practice, and communicating climate change effectively.
