Lobbyists Predict: Truss to Win Easily
A poll of the leading U.K. public affairs practitioners published today reveals the overwhelming view that Liz Truss will be elected Conservative Party Leader on Monday.
In the poll of the 42 leading public affairs leaders in the U.K. -conducted by the PRCA, the self regulatory body for lobbying practitioners- 41 predicted Truss would win; with only one predicting a victory for Rishi Sunak.
The central prediction for her winning margin was 62% to 38%.
