Press release -

Phoenix Contact at the Hannover Messe: Digital Factory, efficient control cabinet building, and DC technology in focus

In tune with the trade fair motto “Shaping the Future with Technology”, Phoenix Contact will be showcasing its products and solutions for the challenges of the future at the Hannover Messe from March 31 to April 4: This year, the family-run company will be focusing on three topic areas on booth F40 in Hall 9: DC technology, efficiency in control cabinet building, and Digital Factory.

In times of climate change, DC technology is becoming increasingly important: When converting from AC power grids to DC grids, companies can not only reduce their energy consumption, but also reduce peak loads and integrate renewable energies and energy storage units more easily. Phoenix Contact supports companies with its expertise and a wide range of components when setting up DC grids. In times of the energy transition and increasing electrification, the topic of “efficiency in control cabinet building” also comes into focus: For this purpose, energy distribution networks must be expanded worldwide – including the necessary switching devices. Efficiency issues are playing an increasingly important role for the industry to be able to cope with this expansion. Phoenix Contact offers comprehensive consulting services and a scalable portfolio for control cabinet building.

The trade fair key area “Digital Factory” picks up on another future topic: Digitalization is the key to increasing productivity and sustainability in industrial production. Phoenix Contact supports companies in making production processes more efficient through data acquisition and evaluation and increasing the resilience and stability of production through comprehensive security concepts.

Under a global umbrella brand, Phoenix Contact offers innovative products, solutions, and digitalization expertise for the electrification, networking, and automation of all sectors of the economy and infrastructure. The family-run company empowers industry and society to transform into a sustainable world with long-term growth prospects for everyone.
