Awards: SPT modular PCB terminal block wins twice

The SPT modular PCB terminal block from Phoenix Contact made a lasting impression on the juries at two separate awards ceremonies. At the end of March, the product innovation was the Gold Stevie Winner at the German Stevie Awards 2023 in the category “Business Technology Solution – Manufacturing Solutions”.

In May, the PCB terminal block also received the German Innovation Award 2023 in the “Special Mention” category.

With its sophisticated approach, SPT modular offers a solution for manufacturers who require tailored connection solutions. With the PCB terminal block, digitalisation ensures the rapid availability of products, easy handling, and an almost unlimited number of possible combinations. In order to achieve this, Phoenix Contact implemented its first end-to-end digital process chain from the configurator through to production. The configurator serves as a control element for the downstream processes. It features intuitive operation via drag and drop and guides the user through the various options as part of the configuration logic, so no software installation is required. The configurator is available online on the Phoenix Contact website, so users can start designing their tailored terminal block straight away.

The German Stevie Awards are cross-industry business awards that recognize the outstanding achievements of companies in the German-speaking regions of Europe. In total, the jury reviewed over 400 submissions.
