Micro Current Therapy VS TENS

For years, TENS has dominated the pain relief world. It has been used for all manner of pain related issues, such as arthritis and chronic back pain. It bombards  the nerve endings with electricity, blocking the pain signals to the brain, however, although this procedure can stop your pain it has a number of drawbacks. As opposed to blasting the body with a high voltage to block pain signals, MCT uses microamps which are are thousand time smaller than the milliamps TENS uses. This much smaller current is naturally found in the body too, and enters damaged cells. Damaged cells reject the body's current because they are swolen, but MCT reintroduces this current and restores the functions in said cells. Unlike TENS, the treatment cannot be felt and is stimulating healing in the body in stead of simply blocking the pain. It is for this reason that specialists are leaning more and more towards MCT.
