Jay Cooper appointed President, Northern Europe at Mondelēz International

30th March 2022: Mondelēz International, Inc. (NASDAQ:MDLZ) has todayannounced the appointment of Jay Cooper as President, Northern Europe. Jaywill be responsible for Mondelēz International’s businesses in the UK, Ireland,Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, where Mondelēz manufactures andsells some of Europe’s best-loved brands including Cadbury, Oreo, MaynardsBassetts, Ritz, belVita, Freia and Maribou.

Since joining the company, Jay, a 20-year Mondelēz International veteran, has

successfully led biscuit, chocolate, and confectionary businesses both in theUS and internationally during his career; most recently holding the positionof Senior Vice President of Growth for North America. He brings to the role aconsistent track record of commercial performance, building the company’smarketing capabilities, delivering top-tier marketing activity, and producingbest-in-class digital and social marketing.

Jay replaces Clive Jones who takes on a new role within the business asPresident Central Europe, EU Central Sales & Global Licensing. Clive will beresponsible for Mondelēz International’s businesses in Central Europe, whichspan more than 20 markets.
