Celebrating the impact of The Cadbury Foundation in 2018!
We’re #proud of the positive impact The Cadbury Foundation continues to make in our local communities and 2018 was no exception...
Over £640k was donated to a number of charities across the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries under the focus areas of Health and Wellbeing, Skills and Colleague Passions. We continue to work with many of our charitable partners on a long term basis including The British Paralympic Association, Grocery Aid and Aware in Ireland on a range of programmes from disability sport to the welfare of past and present employees.
This work was enhanced by colleagues across Northern Europe volunteered over 8,300 hours in 2018 – sharing their time and expertise within their working day. They also raised over £200k for charities close to their hearts, which The Cadbury Foundation supported through its Cashmatch scheme.
From its first grant of £40 in 1935 The Foundation is still going strong and welcomed Clive Jones, President Northern Europe as its new Chairman. Clive follows a long line of caretakers, including many of the Cadbury family. We also welcomed UK Managing Director Louise Stigant to the trustee board in 2018.
All of this amazing impact placed The Cadbury Foundation in the top 50 foundations within the UK! Find out more about the trustees and our programmes in more detail here.
