Two men charged with GBH with intent

Two men have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a man was stabbed on a bus in Redbridge.

The men were arrested on 3 July after information was received following a media appeal on June 26.

Abass Kamara, 20 (14.12.03) of Stonebridge, NW10 has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.

Emmanuel Kabengele 18 (26.04.06) of Knotts Green, Leyton, E10 has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

Abass appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court on 4 July and was remanded to appear at Harrow Crown Court on 1 August.

Kabengele is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Friday, 5 July.

The charges relate to an incident aboard a Route 169 bus at High Road, Barkingside, on Monday, 24 June when a 19-year-old man was found injured.
