Detective Inspector Devan Taylor, who led the investigation into the murder, said: “Robert was just 37-years-old when he lost his life in this senseless attack, killed by someone who should have been a friend and neighbour. Jaden Sheriff now has to spend the rest of his life knowing he killed a man."
Police were called to the scene where a bus had collided with two children in Watling Street near the junction with Halcot Avenue on the morning of Saturday, 3 August 2024. Asolo-Agogua, who was driving the bus, was arrested on the day of the incident.
Police were called at around 22:15hrs on Monday, 10 February, to the Grosvenor pub in Oaklands Road, Hanwell, to reports that a man had stumbled into the pub with serious injuries.
