Family of motorcyclist pay tribute to him following fatal RTC on Menlove Ave last week

Following a road traffic collision on Menlove Avenue last week, we are saddened to report that the motorcyclist involved, passed away in hospital as a result of his injuries.

His family have today (29th April) paid tribute to him saying “Reece James Clarke sadly died on 25th of April 2019, a day after his 21st birthday.

“He will be remembered for being a lovely, caring, generous young man. His passion in life was gaming and social media, but he always made time for his family.

“Reece had the most outgoing personality and he was loved by everyone. He was the greatest uncle to his nephew and a loving brother to his sister.

“Due to the ongoing investigation we do not know exactly what happened, all we know was Reece was travelling home from his first day at a new job, the day the collision happened.”

Officers continue to appeal to anyone that witnessed the collision or may have dash-cam footage to get in touch @MerPolCC quoting log 763 of 23/4/19.
