A Christmas celebration with Art in the heart of Mayfair.

This Christmas, Marcel Schreur, the original Dutch Artist will bring more than 25 works to the heart of London. A Christmas celebration with art. Farm Street Church is a beautiful oasis of peace and light in Mayfair. 

Mount Street Gardens, an oasis of peace and tranquility in Central London.

The Church Hall in Mount Street is the perfect platform for this colourful and meaningful exhibition. His mantra is “Life is beautiful. Always”. Sharing hope, peace, joy and love in his paintings and sculptures.

A colourful and meaningful exhibtion for young and old.

Having survived cancer twice and coming back from dementia and still heavily affected by the diseases, he is bleeding his experiences and love for life onto the canvas and into sculpting.  He says “I have gift, a gift is to be shared, not exclusively owned. That’s what I just love doing. Art is my expression of this gift”.

An award winning international artist, working with the Prince’s Trust, the Vatican and bringing a portrait of Pope Francis into the papal household are some of his recent achievements. 

He is currently in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University to create an artistic VR project on the experiences and perceptions of a vascular dementia and a cancer survivor.

“Life is beautiful. Always”. A Christmas celebration with art and an inspiring evening with the Artist on Friday the 22nd of December from 6.30 to 9pm. Christmas music and singing by the talented Rebecca Durham. Mulled wine and mince pies. 

The Exhibition is from the 21st-26th of December. Open daily from 12pm to 7pm (closed on the 25th). 

Entrance is free.

A colourful and meaningful start of the festive season.

Around 150 countries will gather from 12 to 16 October 2015 in Istanbul for the 8th Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) Summit Meeting taking place under the Chairmanship of Turkey.The Turkish GFMD Summit comes amidst heightened global attention on migrants’ plight.Marcel Schreur,amongst other artist migrants,is hoping to inspire world leaders through an art exhibition at this venue.

Kingston based Marcel Schreur saw his sculpture take a third prize at the prestigious London Art Biennale.120 artists from 40 countries gathered in the Chelsea Old Town Hall last week to celebrate the gift of art.Thousands people flooded into this beautiful venue and impressive art exhibition over the course of 5 days,opened by the Mayor of Kensington Chelsea,Councillor Mrs. Elizabeth Rutherford
