Lindab support DIY SOS: Big Build for Children in Need
DIYSOS: The Million Pound Build for Children in Need, saw the team from the BBC's award winning home renovation programme tackle one of their biggest challenges to date; building a centre and supported housing for a charity that supports young people in and leaving care.
Despite storms and a tight 11 day build schedule, the team, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, built a bespoke new centre and transitional flats from the ground up for the Roots Foundation Wales, an inspirational charity, part-funded by BBC Children in Need.
The project completely relied on the support of the local community of tradespeople and suppliers to carry out the work. Lindab are proud to have supplied Magestic galvanised Rainline rainwater products for use on the build.
We were able to supply the required products at short notice from stock. Chris from the DIY SOS team gratefully collected the goods in person from our UK distribution centre; he was particularly impressed with the quality of the products.
