ENER-G presents capital-free cost and carbon reduction solutions

Sustainable energy business ENER-G (www.energ.co.uk) will showcase new and innovative energy management technologies and services - available without any upfront capital cost under shared savings agreements - at Ecobuild (20 to 22 March 2012) - stand S2940.

As an energy services business, ENER-G provides a one-stop approach to decarbonising buildings, taking care of all elements of the project and providing upfront finance, available direct from ENER-G.  As such, ENER-G  can finance the technologies that will reduce energy consumption and then use the savings to recover costs, shouldering all risk should the anticipated savings not accrue.

Among the ENER-G technologies available on a shared savings basis is its new generation building energy management system, E-MAGINE, which uses the latest in IT and internet technology to control and manage all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting applications, reducing energy usage up to 25%.

ENER-G's  combined heat and power systems (CHP) are also available without any upfront investment. The company will introduce its  new Universal system, which is the smallest, lightest and quietest external fully packaged CHP product range available globally. It will also highlight its expertise as Europe’s leading supplier of cogeneration systems from 4kW to 10MW, powered by natural gas, biogas, diesel, biogas, propane or biodiesel.

The company will exhibit its heat pump technologies and services (1kW to 1000kW capacity) incorporating ground source, gas absorption, air source and water loop technologies. The company, which operates its own drilling rigs and can take care of the complete project, provides finance options and a flexible warranty and support package, together with service and maintenance options

ENER-G will also present its Energy Kaizen Programme, which is delivering rapid step change reductions in energy consumption, carbon emissions and costs. The programme engages an organisation’s cross-departmental team to challenge existing processes, behaviours and infrastructure and identify and evaluate opportunities to rapidly improve energy performance.

The company's ENER-G Switch2 division,  which has more  than  30 years’ experience of working within the social housing sector alongside local authorities, housing associations and registered social landlords,  will showcase its expertise in the field of communal heating, district heating and mixed use schemes.

ENER-G Switch2 is directly involved with the whole value chain of a district heating scheme from the design and supply of hardware (meters, consumer interface units, automatic meter reading systems), scheme design validation and financial modelling, equipment installation (main plant and dwelling internals) through to metering services, data collection, billing (credit and prepayment solutions), debt management as well as scheme operation through Contract Energy Management and ESCo services.

ENER-G has a complete range of products and services to assist energy managers in buying, managing and reducing their energy consumption, including combined heat and power, heat pumps, building management controls, air conditioning, lighting, independent energy, carbon and water consultancy, procurement and risk management, metering and data solutions, bureau services and energy efficiency solutions.
