IAM RoadSmart shortlisted for the Charity Film Award

Road safety charity, IAM RoadSmart, has been entered into the Smiley Charity Film Awards for its ‘For The Road Ahead’ video.

According to Government data, nearly 11 million over 60’s currently hold UK driving licences. IAM RoadSmart dedicated their film to focusing on older drivers sharing personal stories highlighting the freedom that driving gives them and the positive impact it has on their lives.

You can show your support to IAM RoadSmart on their bid to be awarded winners of the Charity Film Award, by visiting Smiley Charity Awards to place your vote. All votes must be made before 24th January 2024.

Charlotte Hounsom, Senior Marketing Manager at IAM RoadSmart, said:

“Shining a light on older drivers through the power of film has allowed us to tell an important story focusing on what driving offers the older generation. Being recognised at the Smiley Charity Awards would mean a great deal to us a charity as we continue our work to support drivers and riders of all ages, but especially older drivers who often lose confidence along the way.”
