Hitachi Rail / Amazon Park Open Day attracts 1,000 companies interested in getting involved in IEP trains
On May 26, 2011, Hitachi jointly with Durham County Council and Merchant Place Developments held an open day to inform companies interested in business opportunities presented by the construction of Hitachi’s new train manufacturing plant in County Durham. In total 1,800 people representing 1,000 companies attended the event at the Xcel Centre in Newton Aycliffe.
