Class 465 train in Hitachi's Ashford Train Maintenance Centre
Hitachi successfully fitted its traction packages to 97 Southeastern Class 465 trains. Following successful testing in 2008, the whole fleet of 97 trains was modified at Hitachi’s Ashford facility in 2009/2010. The modified units achieve outstanding reliability figures for their traction packages.
