Adventurers looking to take part in an around the world voyage can now set sail from Liverpool.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ flagship, Bolette, will set sail on her maiden world cruise ‘Voyage of Exploration Around the World’ in January 2025.

On 4th January, guests can embark in Liverpool before visiting beautiful destinations including Brazil, Chile, French Polynesia, Australia and South Africa, among many others.

The 110-night voyage, which also returns to Liverpool, includes the opportunity to see some of the world’s most breath-taking panorama including the differing landscapes of Chile, explore iconic sites such as the Opera House, Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and go in search of the Big Five in South Africa.

Clare Ward, Director of Product and Customer Services at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to once again be able to offer World Cruise departures from Liverpool.

“We know how much our guests value being able to explore the world, and what’s better than being able to set sail right from their doorstep?

“Our team are passionate about taking our guests to visit the furthest corners of the globe and experience a variety of unique cultures.

“This World Cruise will see Bolette sail through the Magellan Strait taking in Easter Island, idyllic Tahitian islands and iconic Australian cities, before heading on to Africa where guests can seek out wildlife on a safari or visit South Africa’s vineyards.”

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has also unveiled two shorter cruises as part of the world voyage.

Both setting sail from Liverpool on 4th January, guests can either embark on a 58-night ‘South America and the Pacific Islands’ cruise or enjoy 87 nights discovering ‘South America and Australia’.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines we are very proud of our smaller ships – Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral - and the imaginative and unusual itineraries they allow us to offer. Every cruise is hand-crafted from scratch by our team of in-house Journey Planners to make sure you are not only visiting the best destinations, but at the best time to experience them.

For us, it’s not just about where we go but how we take you there. We put as much time into planning scenic cruising as we do in choosing the destinations themselves. On board, our Signature Experiences showcase the history, culture, nature and flavours of the destinations you’ll visit – from Treats of the Region, where you can enjoy local delicacies, to our Sky at Sea star-gazing sessions where you can relax with a hot toddy out on deck while our astronomer talks you through the night sky.

Plus, with each ship carrying 1,300 guests or less, our ships are small enough for us to offer a warm, friendly and personal service where nothing is ever too much trouble, as we visit a host of exciting ports in every corner of the globe.
