Fortrus announces today that their customer South Essex Partnership University NHS Trust have successfully implemented e-forms as part of its Integrated Digital Care Record and all ward monitoring is now done through electronic forms.
NUH has gone live with ‘Unity’ as part of a Trust-wide programme to create a Digital Health Record (DHR) constructed from scanning paper medical records and amalgamating patient demographic data, structured data from a multitude of hospital systems, and other information sources.
Fortrus are delighted to announce that NMUH successfully went live last week with ‘Unity’ an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), which forms part of the Trust wide EMR project to be fully digital by 2017 at the very latest, ensuring all patient records are digitally available at the point of care.
With the development of the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital well under way, the Trust set a slightly more challenging target date of this year (2017) for paperless working, ahead of the governments 2018 target.
