Brakes adds more Oumph! to their offering with plant-based Balls and Kebab Spiced Pieces

As foodservice is starting to open up in the UK, Oumph! are proud that Brakes, the UK's leading foodservice wholesaler, has added two of Oumph!'s most popular products to its wholesale offering: Oumph! Balls and Oumph! Kebab Spiced.

The following Oumph! products are now available at Brakes:

• Pulled Oumph! – Soya chunks in a delicious barbecue sauce that can be fried from frozen and served as a filling for tacos, a topping for burgers, in a sandwich or atop a pizza.

• Oumph! Balls – Swedish meatless meatballs from Oumph! is a real family favourite and will ‘roll’ perfectly into all your favourite dishes.

• Oumph! Kebab Spiced – Oumph! strips seasoned with a classic kebab spice mix - just add fresh vegetables and sauces to create your own plant-based kebab.

• Oumph! The Chunk – This is an unseasoned version, ready for chefs to add their own herbs, spices and creativity. Extremely versatile, try Oumph! The Chunk in curries, lasagne, Asian-inspired dishes or even as a fish substitute for fish and chips with a twist.

All Oumph! products available from Brakes are made from soya. They are suitable for vegans, and free from dairy and gluten.

Oumph! provides a great solution for caterers as it is both easy to use and versatile. It can often be difficult to get texture into vegan dishes but Oumph! provides a unique structure and texture that replicates meat fantastically and which really lends itself to a multitude of dishes.
