Steve Elworthy to leave ECB to become Chief Executive of Surrey County Cricket Club

Surrey County Cricket Club has today announced that the ECB’s Managing Director of Events & Special Projects, Steve Elworthy MBE, has been appointed as the county’s new Chief Executive.
Following the announcement, Tom Harrison, ECB Chief Executive Officer, said:

The Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC) has now appointed four Commissioners, with expertise in cricket, equality and organisational change, to take forward its independent examination of equity in the sport.
