​Media Advisory: Media and Training Arrangements: Second Specsavers Ashes Test - England v Australia, Lord’s

Please note the following media and training arrangements ahead of the second Specsavers Ashes Test between England and Australia at Lord’s.

N.B. Media timings are approximate. Please be in place 30 minutes before advertised timings. Timings are (BST). All media activity is subject to change.

Friday 9 August

England will announce their 2nd Test squad via a media statement in the afternoon.

Saturday 10 August

The Australian touring squad has a day off in London with no formal media activity planned.

Sunday 11 August, Lord’s Cricket Ground, London

England:

The England Test squad will travel to London with no formal media activity scheduled.

Australia:

10.00am: Members of the Australian touring squad will train at Lord’s. After training, a member of the squad will be available to media.

Monday 12 August, Lord’s Cricket Ground, London

Australia:

9.30am-12.30pm: Australia team practice.

12.30pm: Australia Head Coach Justin Langer will be available to speak to media.

England:

1.30pm-4.30pm: England team practice

12.45pm: A playing member of the England Test squad will be available to speak to media.

Tuesday 13 August, Lord’s Cricket Ground, London

England:

9.30am-12.30pm: England team practice

1.15pm: England men’s Test captain Joe Root will be available to media in the media conference room, located at the ECB Office.

Australia:

1.30pm-4.30pm: Australia team practice

1.00pm: Australia’s men’s Test captain Tim Paine will be available to media in the media conference room, located at the ECB Office.

Wednesday 14 – Sunday 18 August, Lord’s Cricket Ground, London

11.00am: Second Specsavers Ashes Test, England vs Australia, Lord’s

Please note all pre/post-practice media conference timings are subject to change and media are advised to be in place at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

All news or film crews wishing to attend practice days or post-match press conferences should inform the ECB Media Operations team prior to arrival and must show on entry a 2019 ECB accreditation or other forms of media ID pass.

All access to TV non-rights holders will be in line with the ECB News Access Code 2019.
