England Women complete unbeaten home summer with victory over New Zealand

England Women sealed an unbeaten 13-game home summer in their fifth and final Vitality IT20 against New Zealand at Lord’s.

New Zealand’s Fran Jonas took four wickets while captain Heather Knight top-scored for the hosts with 46 as England finished on 155 after recovering from 87-6.

In reply, Lauren Bell took 3-20, while Freya Kemp and spinner Charlie Dean took two wickets each.

The win secures a 5-0 clean sweep for England who were also undefeated in their earlier ODI series against the White Ferns.

13 July: 4th Women’s IT20 – The Kia Oval, London – England won by seven wickets

17 July: 5th Women’s IT20 – Lord’s, London – England won by 20 runs
