Alex Hartley's Central Contract To Not Be Renewed

Lancashire left-arm spinner Alex Hartley will not have her England Women Central Contract renewed when her current terms run out in January.

Hartley was informed earlier this month. The full list of England Women Central Contracts for the contract year commencing January 2020 will be released later this year.

Interim Head Coach, Ali Maiden, said: "Alex is undoubtedly a talented bowler and the door is absolutely never closed on her returning to the international stage.

"We have a lot of talented spinners in the current playing group and that competition places is healthy for us moving forward."
