elephant communications kicks off schools programme

Investing in creativity: elephant communications is launching a creativity awards programme with local schools this winter.

The initiative represents the fourth prong of the consultancy’s community investment programme which, this year, has featured a series of free PR advice days for small business start ups, a donation to Elephant Parade’s work raising global awareness for the plight of the Asian elephant – and another donation to support the Philharmonia Orchestra’s music outreach programme.

The new schools programme will see the elephant team work with a number of local primary schools, sponsoring awards for creativity through art.

Karen Waugh at elephant commented: “Creativity and ideas are at the heart of what we do. Every member of the team can think of someone that gave them confidence in their ideas at a young age and we’re keen to do our bit to help others. During the course of 2012, our community investment programme has been well received and it has become an integral part to what we are about. We’re pleased to do our bit to make a difference in the communities in which we operate.”
