The 24 Hour Race is like no other: anything can happen, yet the show must go on – and a fast-flying DJI Inspire 2 is always on call to deliver the suspense via live streaming.

Using Drones to Save Entangled Whales

Whales get entangled in fishing lines and other ocean debris, which can injure and eventually kill them. But that’s only part of the story.

Approaching these great mammals to untangle them, can be extremely dangerous, even fatal, for humans. That’s why authorised non-profit organisations that strive to free these large animals, are now calling on drone technology to help.

By offering a different perspective to assess the conditions of the whales and necessary equipment to intervene from above, drones reduce the risk for people by limiting the number of approaches to the animals.
