London Indie Rock upstarts The Interests drop third single 'Feel The Disparity'
Following on from their last two singles from London's indie rockers The Interests, 'Feel The Disparity' features angular riffs, brash guitars, and a backbeat that pumps through your spine. Despite being compared to bands such as The National, Deftones, Longpigs, the band still keep their British indie element with influence on this track coming from bands such as The Libertines, Catfish and The Bottlemen and Wolf Alice. There is even a nod to the latter band in the lyrics, “Every single time I write a text/I pause delete the kisses at the end”. The track was recorded at Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate, and mixed and mastered by long-time collaborator, Ben Hillier. The band hail from South London, and are expected to produce bigger and better things over the next twelve months, with an EP recorded, and plenty more songs written and demoed in their rehearsal room in Greenwich.
The Interests are: Ben Hunter (vocals/guitar), Ollie Downes (guitar), Joe Whitlock (bass), Ben Walker (drums).
The band headline the Finsbury on the 1st July, with support from Holler and NTNL RAIL. Tickets are free however you must RSVP using this link:
