Over the past few days, a handful of clips from longtime loved Boston promoter Billy Ruane, from his personal archives have been posted to YouTube, and today we have 24 hours of some of the best bands ever to grace the stage. 

It's been far too many years since the unexpected death of Billy Ruane.And yet, the Boston music scene icon keeps on giving, thanks to the help of a couple of Boston musician and videographer Jody Moore, Domains and Pretty Flowers guitarist, historian/curator, Greg-Dalton Kay, and Boston rocker turned filmmaker, Michael Gill are putting the finishing touches his long-awaited documentary, The Road To Ruane
