Parents are being encouraged to use stories as a way to settle their children aged 0-4 at the end of each day.
An exciting variety of story sessions and craft activities for children of all ages takes place in local libraries this summer.
Families are invited to enjoy stories and crafts from around the world at four events held at Prestwich Library.
Seasonal stories, songs and crafts for little ones and their grown-ups await at Prestwich Library on Saturday 10 December (10–11.30am).
Prestwich Library is to host a Summer Storytelling Festival, a four-week family project starting on Thursday 28 July (2–3.30pm).
Stories and activities for young children will be held across local libraries during National Bookstart Week (6-12 June).
Youngsters are invited to take part in Twilight Tales, Eco Craft and Saturday story sessions at Prestwich Library.
