Local shops update at Bury West township forum

The shopping precinct at Mile Lane will be discussed when Bury West Township Forum meets on Wednesday 19 November.

Also on the agenda is a presentation from Bury Council about the cuts it is proposing to make in its 2015/16 budget.

Planned changes to children’s centres will be presented, along with how people can have their say during the consultation period.

There will also be updates form the forum’s Advisory Group and on the Draft Township Area Plan

The meeting is at Bolton Road Methodist Church and starts at 7pm. The usual open forum and public
question time will be on the agenda in the second half of the meeting.
