Bury Pride – A celebration of Diversity returns for its 6th Year

Bury Pride returns on Saturday 29^th April for its annual celebration of equality and diversity.

Taking place at the Elizabethan Suite and Bury Town Hall, from 10am to 5.30pm, it will feature local acts such as Kaya Pyzer, Bury Fire Choir and PQA plus drag artists from the House of Bridget, Bury’s only LGBTQI+ venue, headlined by former X-Factor contestant Sam Bailey.

With fairground rides, stalls, rainbow merchandise and over 40 organisations taking part, it will be the biggest celebration yet.

The Walking Rainbow Parade, the corner stone of the event, begins at 1pm from Knowsley Street. The parade will make its way through Bury past all local town centre landmarks including the Art Gallery, Victoria Wood Statue, Millgate and Bury’s Famous Market.
