Smarktivity responds to figures that show kids no longer want to be famous, they want to be entrepreneurs

Birmingham based sales and marketing firm Smarktivity were ecstatic this week to find out Britain’s children were no longer dreaming of careers to place them in famous circles, but more interested in becoming business owners, entrepreneurs and leaders.

About Smarktivity: http://smarktivity.com/about-us/

The recent study conducted on over 1500 of the nation's children resulted in over 12 percent choosing entrepreneurship over other vocations. Surprisingly the study found that a minute 2 percent showed interest in a career in athletics and only 7 percent in both acting and music.

The massive jump in the interest of entrepreneurship can in part be put down to the career path is more prevalent in the current culture. Television shows that depict aspiring businessmen and women are now more popular than ever before, many of whom are shown to have built business empires from humble backgrounds. Entrepreneurship is a more viable career choice for all than ever before.

The study also found that individuals from lower socio-economic families are often at a disadvantage in traditional career paths, often needing to prove their worth and ultimately work harder to progress into leadership. Smarktivity understands that a career in entrepreneurship can destroy such preconceptions and offer equal opportunity to dedicated young professionals from all backgrounds, as the company aim to do within their recruitment.

Smarktivity is hopeful that this trend will continue in popularity, encouraging young children to seek entrepreneurship well into adulthood. Smarktivity’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to offer unique solutions to common problems, a brand ethos that the firm keeps at the forefront of all their campaigns. The company are also keen to express their support of the top three traits of leadership that the study found children to value most; listening, caring and goal setting. Smarktivity understands that the sooner children are taught about entrepreneurship, the better leaders they'll grow up to become.

Smarktivity has a fresh and unique approach to its work. The firm state they are “committed to trying new ideas, as it’s the only way we’re going to keep growing!” “
