Eric Martin of Florida Business Consulting hails the success of New York City Trip

In July, Florida Business Consulting announced an exciting company-wide competition to fly to New York City on an all expenses paid trip. This past week, the winners accompanied Managing Director, Eric Martin to travel to the big apple.

Florida Business Consulting has developed a recognition and reward culture, and they believe that has been integral to their tremendous growth. When Managing Director, Eric Martin received an invite from one of the most high profile sales and marketing professionals in the US to travel to New York City, the business owner decided to turn it into a competition.

The parameters of the competition revolved around growth. The intention was to drive urgency and instill motivation to boost productivity. Mr Martin chose two winners to accompany him on the trip.

During the trip, the group visited a different office each day, spending time with various business owners. Observing how they conduct themselves day-to-day and how they coach, motivate and inspire their team. The formalities were topped off with a Winners Circle networking event on Friday evening where the contest winners got the opportunity to forge new relationships and expand their network.

Saturday was a free day and a chance for the group to explore the sights of the world-famous city. They visited the Empire State Building to get the best view of the city before being treated to lunch at the incredible Marlow Restaurant on the Upper West Side.

The purpose of the trip was to spend time with some of the top professionals in the industry, to gain information that they can apply to progress their business development.

Award-winning entrepreneur, Mr Martin has made travel a priority this year. With an organization of twelve offices spanning seven states, the Florida Business Consulting director has made it his mission to take to the road. He has also travelled overseas to spend time in the UK, networking with some of the top business owners in the industry.

“The New York trip was a huge success, and it was an experience the contest winners won’t forget for a while. I always promote the importance of travel to progress business development, and I love being able to run contests for our workforce to travel the country,” commented Mr Martin.
