Arete22 Ramps up its Reward Culture with Designer Prize

To maintain momentum following a successful award season, Arete22 has accepted a challenge set to them by its workforce and is rewarding hard work with designer prizes.

Arete22 is currently riding on the high of a hugely successful award season. At a recent ceremony in London organised by the UK’s leading sales and marketing consultants, CEO Cyril Williams was presented with an award for ‘Comeback Business Owner of the Year’. Mr Williams received the award in recognition of his success in securing Arete22 a prime position in the Manchester market, and his work in supporting the next generation of sales and marketing talent.

Inspired by the ceremony, Mr Williams has since been on a mission to motivate his workforce to set clear and rewarding goals. As such the CEO was pleased to learn of one individual in the company who was planning to reward herself with a designer prize of a Gucci belt if she hit her own targets. To sustain a spirit of competition Mr Williams offered to provide the prize himself if she succeeded, which she did to the delight of the CEO.

Mr Williams is confident that having a close bond with his workforce has allowed him to understand their individual motivations and offer rewards they are genuinely passionate about. ‘It’s not so much about the rewards themselves, but what they represent’ outlines Cyril Williams. ‘It’s a way of showing people you value them, and breaking through seniority so that everyone feels united and empowered’.
