Blue Moose is thoroughly committed to supporting the upcoming entrepreneurial talent within the sales and marketing industry. The firm offers their contractors one-to-one mentoring that is designed to help tailor their development pathways as well as being an opportunity to bounce ideas off industry veterans. Alongside the mentoring scheme, the firm puts on regular workshops that cover a vast number of topics as well as fantastic networking opportunities.

On the whole 2017 was a great year for entrepreneurship in the UK - with just under 650,000 company incorporations in the twelve months to March 2017. It’s believed the influence and popularity of online, handmade marketplaces such as Not On The High Street, Etsy and many more platforms, there are far more opportunities to start up and become your own boss.

Blue Moose was honoured to have been able to play a part in the ride of entrepreneurship in 2017, and they are confident they have developed a proven formula. To help people with ambition and the willingness to learn, but have little to no experience to progress and learn the skills they need to run a company and to become the industry leaders of tomorrow.

While 2017 was good, 2018 is set to be even better. A recent study of 2000 adults in the UK found that four in five of Brits have aspired to get into business for themselves. It was also discovered that London was naturally the most entrepreneurial with 84 percent claiming they have thought about starting their own business with many cities in the north of England following closely behind.

However, although the nation dreams of starting up on their own, there are some barriers that stop Brits handing in their notice and fulfilling the dream. A lack of money was the most prominent barrier people faced when setting up a business, followed by fear of failure, lack of time and lack of resource or technology.

Blue Moose is a direct marketing agency that offers ongoing sales solutions for clients in a range of business sectors. Already established in many locations across the UK, Blue Moose is fast becoming one of the country's most successful personalised marketing specialists.
