The EU has also recognised this; from 2024 on the EU will be certifying trailers according to their CO2 emissions. Transporting and delivering asphalt is a delicate business: the mix, which is at a temperature of around 180 degrees, is susceptible to wind; too much oxygen and temperature losses can ruin its quality while on the road.
