Press release -

Boxerkilt The Worlds First Pouchless Briefs For Men.

Until now there has only been three main types of underwear for men. Tighty Whiteys, Boxer Briefs and Boxer Shorts. Now there is a fourth choice! The Boxerkilt. In place of a restrictive pouch the Boxerkilt has an edgeless opening that allows the male genitals to maintain a wholly natural position.

Around 5% of men regularly skip the underwear, this is commonly known as “Going Commando” or “Free Balling” Going commando is not a fashion statement it is basic ergonomics with health benefits. The male testicles are designed to operate at more than 3 degrees lower than the 37 degrees core body temperature and wrapping them up it up in two layers of elasticated cotton is not the best idea. The pouch portion of a typical pair of Boxer Briefs has one purpose and that is to squash the male organs into a central clump, this results in a restricted cremaster muscle and testicles that are kept constantly above the temperature they were designed to operate at.

Going commando is comfortable and healthy but it is not without a few drawbacks; chafing for some men is a problem, for others it is a hygiene issue, but all men will agree that a big reason not to go commando is the fear of accidentally forgetting to close the zipper, a simple mistake that could turn into a spectacularly unforgettable faux pas.

The Boxerkilt has been designed to give all the advantages of going commando but without of any of the problems. Made with 190GSM “Coolwick” fabric, an equal portion mixture of Bamboo and Cotton that creates a garment that is strong, soft and excellent at wicking away excess moisture.
