No Rory, so glory for Luke before British Open?

The European Tour travels to the Moray Firth this week for the traditional pre-curser to the British Open, the Scottish Open at the magnificent Castle Stuart Golf Links. With only a week to the Open a star studded field, excluding US Open champion Rory McIlroy, takes to the links course and Betclic thinks joint favourites World No. 1 Luke Donald, priced at 10,00, has the perfect chance for a perfect warm-up victory before Royal St Georges.

It won’t be easy though for the world’s top golfer as four more of the world’s top ten players are on the start sheet. Joint favourite World No. 2 Lee Westwood, American Phil Mickleson, priced at 20,00, Matt Kuchar and former Scottish open winner Graeme McDowell will all be looking to claim the title.

But Betclic cannot see past Luke Donald. The World No.1’s impressive short game should see him shine on the challenging greens at Castle Stuart.

Further down the field defending Champion Edoardo Molinari is highly priced with Betclic at 60,00, while another former champion Ernie Els is another strong outsider at 50,00.

Leading the Scottish contingent will be Matt Laird who is priced at 40,00 with Betclic and in form Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts is another to keep an eye out for at 50,00.
