ReedPop announce Aimee Carrero as the next guest at MCM Comic Con x EGX this October
Friday 19 July, London: ReedPop have announced the next guest to attend MCM Comic Con x EGX at ExCeL London across all three days of the convention in October.
Aimee Carrero is a Dominican actress fans will recognise from her animated roles in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Elena of Avalor, with live action performances in Young & Hungry, Level Up and the Critical Role mini campaign Exandria Unlimited. Photo ops and autographs with Aimee will be available for fans to purchase throughout the length of the show.
Some of Aimee’s best known roles include...
- Adora / She-Ra - After getting lost in a forest and finding a magic sword, Adora gains the ability to transform into the Princess of Power, She-Ra. Using her new powers, she sets out to save her planet Etheria from an evil army led by Hordak (Keston John) alongside the newly reformed Princess Alliance.
- Princess Elena - Premiering on the Disney Channel in 2016, Aimee portrayed Princess Elena across all 78 episodes of the series as well as subsequent mini-series. After 41 years of being trapped in the Amulet of Avalor, Princess Elena is freed by Princess Sofia and must learn to rule the kingdom as crown princess.
- Opal - Aimee brings life to the character Opal, a human warlock and the champion of the Spider Queen in Critical Role mini campaign Exandria Unlimited. Along with her twin sister Theodora "Ted" (Aabria Iyengar), Opal has become a fan favourite character amongst Critical Role’s extensive cast.
Fans of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power can also meet AJ Michalka, the voice of Catra in the show. Previously announced by ReedPop, AJ Michalka will also be available for fans to purchase autographs and photo opportunities throughout the long weekend.
MCM Comic Con London and EGX will take place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October, and will be the first time both events are under one roof. Attendees can expect many more guest announcements in the coming months.
