Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. announced today that Bail or Jail is now available globally for PC on Steam®, and until July 27th users will be welcomed with a celebratory 20% discount. Featuring up to four players in cops-and-robbers inspired gameplay, Bail or Jail keeps players hooked as they try to escape the monster’s clutches or sneak to capture their victims

In Bail or Jail, a team composed of human characters must evade a monster that is hunting them down at all costs. The human team will have to run, hide, and use their different lanterns to stun the monster and avoid capture. The person playing as the monster must use their unique abilities to ambush and capture the evasive human team.
As players progress through matches, they’ll discover which characters work best in each stage, earn more lantern abilities, and experience gradual changes into how the game is played.
Players can enjoy the game on their own or share a single PC between four players. The Quick Match feature allows groups of friends on Discord to join their friends online instantly. Players can earn in-game rewards such as new characters, lanterns, titles, and more! Steam achievements and trading cards will also be added to the game. Furthermore, updates such as limited events, new maps, and new characters are in the works following today’s release.
Bail or Jail first released on Nintendo Switch™ as OBAKEIDORO!¬ in 2019 and was developed by FREE STYLE Inc. alongside Konami Digital Entertainment for PC on Steam®.
The game features improved graphics, additional sound effects, and increased realism of character animations and cutscenes in comparison to its Nintendo Switch™ counterpart.
Bail or Jail supports Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Brazilian-Portuguese, and Russian. More languages, including Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, and Portuguese, will be available post-launch.
