Forever Skies Launches 4-Player Co-Op Mode and Major Game Updates, Available Now

Team up with friends to survive the skies together

December 9, 2024 - Warsaw, Poland | Forever Skies reaches new heights with the launch of the long-awaited 4-Player Co-Op Mode! Available now for free to all PC players, this update allows players to team up with up to three friends in a truly multiplayer fight for survival, where teamwork will make all the difference to staying alive. To celebrate the launch, Far From Home is offering a limited-time discount on Forever Skies on Steam.

In the new 4-Player co-Op mode, players can join forces to build and pilot customisable airships, scavenge for critical resources, and explore mysterious, abandoned landscapes - all while facing the challenges of a toxic, post-apocalyptic Earth. Check out the trailer, here.

Far From Home has also introduced other major gameplay updates for all players, in solo or multiplayer modes, based on community feedback. These updates include:

• Progress Overhaul: updating player progression, to provide more options and ways to play early on

• Introducing Biomes: creating a more cohesive and believable world for players to explore, while still allowing procedural variety

• Restoring Altitude: expanding exploration by introducing different threats, resources, and locations at different altitudes

• Airship Maintenance: adding depth to gameplay, with a new damage system for airships that makes their maintenance essential

• Dynamic Random Encounters: introducing random encounters while exploring, to add spontaneity and unpredictability

Today’s update is now available for free for all players who own Forever Skies on PC. For console players, an exclusive demo is available to play now on PlayStation 5. Forever Skies will officially launch from Early Access in 2025.
