Alba: A Wildlife Adventure from ustwo games Launches on Consoles Today!
Wednesday 9 June | Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, the charming open-world hit from ustwo games and PID Games launches on all consoles today! Following its successful PC and Apple Arcade launch the environmentally conscious exploration game is now available to purchase on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One.
To celebrate the console launch, ustwo games has released a brand-new song, “You Got This”, and music video: Alba: a Wildlife Adventure - "You Got This" Music Video
The game’s soundtrack, created in collaboration with Spanish artist and illustrator Lorena Alvarez, has also been released today on Spotify and Apple platforms.
Continuing their commitment to promoting Alba’s environmental message, ustwo games in partnership with Ecologi will plant one tree for each copy of the game sold or downloaded. To date, 655,000 trees are in the process of being planted, with the goal of planting one million trees.
Alba: A Wildlife Adventure takes place on the gorgeous island of Pinar del Mar, inspired by the Mediterranean coast and home to more than 60 animals for players to find and photograph. Players are cast as Alba, a young girl visiting her grandparents on the island for a peaceful summer exploring and searching for local wildlife with her best friend Ines. When Alba finds out about plans to build a garish hotel on the site of the island’s nature reserve, she sets out to stop it!
Players can explore the idyllic island from its sun-soaked coast to its castle ruins, with everywhere else between. Whether it is photographing animals, people and places, finding rare wildlife, locating lost pets, inspiring volunteers or repairing broken bird boxes, Alba is never short on ways to help out.
Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is now available on digital storefronts for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One priced at $19.99 / 19.99€ / £16.74.
