New World Season 1 - Fellowship and Fire Available Now
Today, Amazon Games officially launched New World’s first season, Fellowship & Fire. The season will last approximately three months, and introduces new narratives, challenges, seasonal activities, rewards and more.
In Fellowship & Fire, players must assemble an elite mercenary group, the Silver Crows, to battle the constantly rising threats on the island of Aeternum. This season follows the Silver Crows as they are hired by their first client, Skye the Spear-daughter, to track down and halt the ambitions of a powerful Warlock and the Varangian horde.
Season 1 also introduces the new Empyrean Forge Expedition, a Level 60+ Expedition set in the Great Cleave, a snowy region filled with the corrupted. Players will pursue the commanders of Sir Loth, a knight of Artorius, to stop the flow of mysterious magic deep within a necropolis.
Players can also expect a new Fire Storm Heartrune and a Gear Set Storage mechanic.
With the new seasonal model, players will have access to the Season Pass, which allows them to earn Season XP, level up and unlock rewards as they progress through seasonal activities. All players will have access to the Free Track of the Season Pass, and players who have reached Level 25 will be able to purchase the Premium Track to earn additional rewards.
