Alma strengthens investment team in Finland and Denmark

Alma Property Partners has hired Nicolas Karkkolainen and Antti Salonen for the Finnish real estate investment team in Helsinki and Gustav Bachmann for the Danish real estate investment team in Copenhagen. The three new hires bring Alma’s investment and asset management team to twelve members.

Nicolas Karkkolainen joined Alma from CBRE Finland’s Capital Markets team and Antti Salonen from CapMan Real Estate in Helsinki. Gustav Bachmann will join Alma on April 1st from Thylander, where he was an Investment Manager, and he has previous experience from Catella and Carnegie. All three are Associates on the real estate investment team and will focus primarily on deal sourcing, transaction execution, market research and asset management.

Alma is currently investing Alma Fund III which has €347 million of equity capital from primarily Swedish and German institutional investors. At year-end 2023, the Fund had €300m of undrawn equity capital, which will be invested into the Nordic markets in the next two years. Alma continues to grow, and several new team members are expected to join during 2024.
