Alma Property Partners acquires retail area Häggvik Entré

Alma Property Partners acquires Stämpeln 1 in Häggvik adjacent to the E4 highway. The property will be developed to a modern retail area comprising approximately 30,000 sqm.

Alma Property Partners has acquired the property Stämpeln 1 in Häggvik (greater Stockholm), comprising approximately 13,000 sqm of leasable retail area with Willys och K-Rauta as tenants, from Bonnier Fastigheter. Bonnier has, in close cooperation with the municipality of Sollentuna, completed a new zoning for the area, which positions the property as a landmark in one of northern Stockholm’s most interesting locations.

“The transaction gives the opportunity to create a new retail concept in one of Stockholm’s most important junctions adjacent to the new Stockholm ring road, the E4 highway and highway 265. We will create a landmark building with an exciting offering of recreation, shopping and restaurants,” says Simon de Château, CIO at Alma Property Partners.

“Thousands of apartments will be developed in Häggvik over the coming years which will provide strong consumer demand for retail services. We see a large potential to develop a strategic retail area as the entrance to Häggvik and contribute to the overall city planning,” says Alexander Thams, Director at Alma Property Partners.

“It feels good to pass the baton to a strong real estate company like Alma Property Partners. Häggvik Entré is an exciting retail project in a fantastic location and I am convinced that Alma will carry out the project well,” says Tomas Hermansson, CEO at Bonnier Fastigheter.

The acquisition was made through a subsidiary Alma I Sverige AB which is owned by Alma in cooperation with Mässing Properties AB which is owned by Fredrik Mässing. The seller’s advisors were Cushman & Wakefield and Kanter Advokatbyrå. The buyer’s advisor was Roschier Advokatbyrå.
