ALLIANZ STRENGTHENS MAIDSTONE BRANCH
Allianz Commercial has announced two new appointments to its Maidstone branch. Sarah Smith will become branch manager and Kerry Myles will take on the position of development manager.
Sarah has worked at Allianz for 17 years, working in a number of senior technical leadership roles in the claims division across various specialisms. Previously, Sarah worked as operations manager (people) within the claims division, where her responsibilities included controlling divisional budgets, divisional resource and the central co-ordination of four claims handling centres.
In her new role Sarah will supply leadership and direction for the commercial underwriting branch inMaidstone. She will work to ensure profitable growth and delivery of all commercial key targets and strategy. She will also work to maintain and grow strong broker relationships within the local area.
Kerry Myles will take on the position of development manager,Maidstone. She joined Allianz as part of the graduate programme in 2006 and most recently held the position of senior business developer in theSouthamptonbranch.
In her new role as development manager for theMaidstonebranch, Kerry will be responsible for managing the new business underwriting team and sales force at the branch. She will also take responsibility for the local distribution strategy and for the profitable development of business with brokers acrossKent,Sussex,Surreyand Hertfordshire.
